MY KING CHARLES CAVALIER SPANIEL – TEDDY FIELD

Teddy:

  • Is a house security system.
  • Snores on occasions, which sounds like the  steam train going through Kogarah, Sydney.
  • Is a door bell – loves to know who is at the front door, and to greet them, usually with his tail wagging. If it is someone that he does not like, then the tail does not wag. Teddy is a very perceptive animal.
  • Is a cuddle buddy- loves a belly rub, and his daily pats.
  • Is family, and loves to go on outings in the car, or to doggy friendly cafes.
  • Is a best friend for life, as all my previous 7 Cavaliers have been-Raine, William, Angus McTavish, Marietta, Lizzie, James and Harry. Each had their own personality. Lizzie was pint -sized, but kept James and Harry in line – she was a naughty girl with loads of personality.  Teddy can be naughty too. He likes to pick things up and run off with them. I have seen my swimmers, amongst other items of clothing, in his mouth disappearing down the hallway.
  • Has loyalty, which   is always   guaranteed- he loves his Mum and she loves him.
  • Provides  unconditional love – in return, he  leads a busy   doggy  life of   luxury .He sleeps only on cotton rugs and quilts,  and has had a few doggy holidays .When needed , he goes to doggy day care.
  • And most of all, he provides happiness to myself, and those who meet him.

Fortunately, today in Australia, we have more dog friendly cafes, and dog friendly accommodation. Dogs are part of the family, and enjoy social outings. There are now some great web sites for dog owners.
