Of the Australian jockeys of the Indian Turf, Barnett is the only one, who in recent days had the rare fortune to win distinction both at Epsom and Newmarket, compelling as he did with such able jockeys as Donaghue and Carslake. His performance in this country has been such a success. He is attached to the well -known stable and well- known owner, Mr E .G. Langly, who it was said that sent jockey Barnett to England to ride for him. Judging from the performance of Barnett in England as early as May last, one may safely project Mr Langley’s colour is sure to be conspicuous during the approaching season in Bombay.

A.C Walker winner of a few sensational events like the Australian Derby is a recent addition to the list of Australian jockeys in this country .He is retained to an Indian owner. In September last, he won credibly the West Indian Derby running as he did a remarkable race and earning for his owners the richest stakes of the season. Given equal opportunities, A. C. Walker can hold his own against any jockey here at present.
