I usually add quotes to the bottom of my annual Xnewsletter.

I arrived for a birthday lunch with Marianthe and Teddy at Café Figaro , Ramsgate Beach .The young waitress called out loudly “is that Teddy ? I am coming out to give him a pat and a cuddle . “
When our coffees were ready she called “coffees for Teddy’s Mum .” Before we left, she took some photos of Teddy and gave him another cuddle .
