When I was researching Moorefield Racecourse, Kogarah I read Rockdale Council Council and Committee Minutes from the early 1950’s until the late 1950’s.
These minutes made frequent references to the F6 reservation / freeway. This is a known fact.
Residents in Civic Avenue , Kogarah knew that their properties were likely one day to be subjected to property acquisition. This is a known fact.
Residents did not know that when the F6 freeway was built, that we were to be subjected to a ventilation stack in the open space area in Civic Avenue.
