*I am searching for the Moorefield Gold Cup / Peter Moore Gold Cup / Peter Moore Cup, which was raced from 1924 until the last race in 1951.
Owners of the horses who won this trophy would have received this trophy. Descendants of these owners may still have one in their possession.
The jockeys did not receive a trophy in those days. This was confirmed recently with Ray Selkrig, who won the 1948 Peter Moore Handicap.
*Searching for members of the Moore Family –the Tolhurst line in particular. Seeking information on the Moore family.
*Seeking any additional information on the Racecourse, and Kogarah Golf Club, which operated a 9 hole golf course in the middle of the racecourse.
*Any documentary makers, who might be interested in a historical project ? The story of Moorefield Racecourse would make a great documentary. There were many interesting personalities and horses associated with this course.
